G'day everyone. I'm Sam, your run-of-the-mill hobby artist dabbling in whatever floats my boat at the time - and if you're here, hopefully whatever floats yours too. I'll respond to comments whenever I can, though I don't do requests for anyone beyond my immediate friends (even that's hit-and-miss). This may change in the future when I'm (hopefully) less lazy and more self-assured of my illustrative ability. Feel free to browse my work and the works of others who inspire me, who you'll likely find in the Favourites tab. It's wholly because of them that I'm halfway decent at what I do. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good one!
Your words are very humbling sir, and I appreciate them muchly - though I do not believe myself worth such praise or to be counted as part of the artistic community who's art is devoid of crudeness. I'm but an amateur, and an utter degenerate at heart
As far as your channel goes, I'm afraid I have little knowledge and lackluster interest in a lot of eastern history, mythology, religion and culture. Furthermore, my knack for editing is sub-par at best. However, after watching your video on Navaratri and its celebration of Durga, I am impressed at the effort and detail gone into your production. I only really feel myself qualified enough to make two suggestions. My first suggestion is to possibly move your facecam video (via editing) when you have textboxes and images displayed to one side of you (e.g. at the 20 second and 45 second marks) so that your face is centered with the left/righthand side of the screen to maintain an appealing symmetry (though this is only a minor nitpick). My second suggestion is not to animate these popups excessively (e.g. 0:42 - 1:12, where the text flew across the screen from the right and settled in the text box on the left when it may have sufficed better to have something simpler) so as not to distract your viewers from the important information its trying to convey.
Hope this helps, best of luck with your videos, and thanks for your kind words!
